Hello everybody!!!
First at all I wish to welcome all the persons visiting my brand new portfolio.
I am a hobbyphotographer and leave in a beautifull little Village in Belgium between Leuven & Mechelen.
Since my childhood, the world of photography has always attracted me like a magnet.
I really started practicing around the age of 15-16 with a very simple little camera. It couldn't be simpler: no interchangeable lens, just a SPORT, NIGHT or AUTOMATIC program and that was it ... The camera lens was also not of great range.
When Mum saw that this was becoming a great passion for me, she helped me a little to acquire a new camera: the Canon 70 D with 2 basic lenses in the box (EFS 18-55 3.5-5.6 & 75- 300 5: 6 III USM).I trained with this camera for 3-4 years and very quickly felt that I wanted to improve myself more and more.
So I started to economize for a higher camera: more pixels, more capacity and this to get better pictures and gradually start retouching them. This is how the Canon 1200 D came into my life. Camera that I still have as a back-up.
Like any photographer, I never want to stop improving myself and I bought the Canon EOS 7D Mark II, which is my first semi-professional camera. I also bought the Canon 70-200 F4 L IS USM lens.And a little later a fixed lens: the Canon EF 135 1: 2 L Ultrasonic.
I also gradually bought photographic equipment: 1 tripod, 1 rain cover, a case with 6 reflectors, 1 support for backgrounds with 2 tissues backgrounds, 1 Huion Kanvas Pro 20 drawing tablet, 1 spot for studio pictures with adaptable stand. I also have different decorative accessories such as different boxes, soft toys, artificial plants, an old-fashioned travel case, a world map ...
Last year I followed my verry first workshop at LA CONDESA FOTOGRAFIE, top photographer! I learned everything I could do before this workshop by myself: try out the different settings, play with the light and the speed, ...I also sometimes went on Google when I was really stuck with something.
After the LA CONDESA FOTOGRAFIE workshop, I started testing Photoshop and Lightroom and tried to edit my pictures. Practice makes perfect and I progress a little every day.
My specialization is dog photography (action or portrait, portrait only outside for now). How could it be otherwise if you live with 4 super dogs? Sometimes they see me coming with my photo device (or smartphone) and then you can literally read in their eyes "Oh no ... Here we go again ...". They would be hiding at that moment.
I also practice landscape photography. I also try to photograph buildings, but herefore I still have to learn a lot how to correctly photograph a building. But I will not give up, someday I will be able to!
My future goal is to take a private course at LA CONDESA FOTOGRAFIE to learn myself more.
And I have another big dream: to buy a new photography lens to replace my Canon 70-200 F4 L IS USM. I would love to have the same lens, but then F2.8 (or why not, the 70-300). But this is for a faraway future. I already have a series of beautiful lenses in my bag. I can practice with and I am more than super happy with that !!!
Little by little I will collect more material and, why not, become a professional photographer with my own style.For now, I ask a little price for my shoots to complete my portfolio and to economize a little (click the button bellow SHOOTS INFO). People can also see my work. When your animal comes in front of my lens, you will receive anyway some edited pictures that you can choose between the NOT edited pictures. Therefore I will send you a separate folder on your mail folder.
